adjustable with about a 5”-range, about 35-1/2” at max. height, the seat ranging between 18” - 22-1/2” H. The working seat area is about 17” W x 17-1/2” D. The gas cylinders are in good working order. The chairs have a 5-point star base w/safety casters that are pressure-sensitive. The chairs have locked wheels that prevent unintended rolling, but that release when sat upon. The chairs work well in most home décor, good for work, study, hobbies, etc. Currently, IKEA’s color selections for the Eldberget are limited to black or white, and retail for $80 each. These red chairs are somewhat rare elsewhere on-line but bargain-priced here and available for local pick-up in San Rafael, cash, Venmo, or PayPal.
