Gen (Genevieve) Matuscha was a very popular artist who worked mainly in the 1940s from her studio in Hollywood California. I can supply more photos if you like. She was renowned for her technique of finger painted watercolor florals but also did landscapes, sometimes in very unusual frames. I urge you to look her up, it’s very interesting. This particular pair are completely original, have never been opened up, in the original frames in amazing condition. The frames are 1 1/2 inches deep as was the custom of the 1940s. The price is for both pieces. Unfaded, beautiful condition. They measure each 17 inches tall x 17 inches wide and 1 1/2 inches deep.
