An original piece from the mid century modern era, mid-late 1950s. It’s proportions are sleek and elegant. It’s very much in the same style as Jack Mont, Los Angeles. Jack Mont was a real character, I highly recommend reading about his life. He specialized in black enamel pieces with gilded hardware, some are large and monumental. In any event, this piece is of the highest quality, built so solidly and strong. The black enamel finish is semi gloss and in surprisingly great condition, the top has some slight wear as pictured. The pulls are 3 dimensional and regal. Doors operation perfectly. It measures 36 inches wide x16 inches deep x 26 inches tall.
