Edwardian (early 1900s) era completely original solid oak desk drop front desk with a very cool beveled mirror and KEY. At the time design was breaking away from Victorian gingerbread and focusing more on form. At only 12 inches deep it can even fit in a narrow space. It’s design has an Art Nouveau feel. The mirror is original and in perfect condition. The decorated front drops down to provide a desk surface and a pigeon hole for letters and stationery. This whole piece is remarkably well preserved and functional. It is solid, strong and well built. I have the KEY even! I can’t think of anything problems it has, it’s completely ready for use.
