Antique Secretary Bookcase Desk, 82.5”Height 20”Deep- Delivery & Set Up Available

This is an antique George III solid wood bureau bookcase, or secretary desk, dating from the style of the late 18th or early 19th century. In my opinion its a later made, tasteful, incredibly crafted 1930 -1960s reproduction.

82.5” Height
20” Deep front to back lower portion
9” Deep upper portion
Need to get the width 34-40” very educated guess (will update soon)

Comes apart into two piece, top glass shelving book case portion and lower secretaries desk portion.

The hutch is a rich wood grain and features a drop-front writing surface with a green leather inlay and unique cubbies and drawers a very narnia magical realm like piece:)

The upper section has glazed doors with intricate geometric astragal moldings (glazing bars) and shelving inside

The lower section contains several drawers with dovetail joinery, brass hardware and original key

Owned and well cared for by an elderly woman, from a smoke and pet free home.

$1,200 cash or venmo, viewing in Petaluma. Delivery is available for a fee
