Antique cedar wood storage chest with metal accents. Handmade around 1915, Pennsylvania Dutch or Amish style. This chest still emits the aroma of cedar when opened and is in great condition. The aroma of cedar repels moths, so it is a great place to store blankets, dresses, sweaters, etc.

All the hardware operates perfectly (hinges and castors). No damage or repairs in its 110 year history.

Newly manufactured chests cost much more, and this is a real antique. And, probably 9 of 10 modern cedar chests are nowhere near as well made.

Dimensions: 40 1/2 inches length by 18 1/2 inches depth by 18 1/4 inches height. It can safeguard a lot of blankets and/or clothing.
