The drawer separators, sides, bottoms, and back are wood.
Desk back panel is particle board with oak veneer - very solid.
Breaks down into 3 manageable pieces for pickup: the roll-top and the two drawer-holding sides. Drawers are simple to remove. Assembles with 6 bolts and 2 screws.
