The top is beautiful tongue and groove 1 1/2 inch thick solid white oak. This was originally built with a keyhole trestle base (see picture of original configuration). We eventually modified the table by removing the base and replacing it with legs. The table includes 2 leaves, each 15 inches deep. Pictures show the same model today, with the original base. The pictures all show that the table is valued at $7,000.
