In 1986, the Metropolitan Opera of New York commissioned Boulanger to create a poster as well as a limited edition original lithograph commemorating Mozarts The Magic Flute to promote their 198788 season. The signed lithograph from the artist is found on the lower center with its limited number of 31 of 300; along with a note from the artist to recipient. The ashen color palette in the original lithograph of Magic Flute is the antithesis of what she is so wellknown for, but this work full encapsulates the mood of one of the worlds most celebrated operas. While remaining true to her form and colorful imagination, Magic Flute is a true testament to the talent of this great artist. Is in good condition with minimal wear for its overall usage.
