Amazon Basics Portable Music Stand is made of steel so its stable, not flimsy. Non-slip feet on tri-foot base. Desk (sheet music holder) is about 20"W x 13"H x 2-1/2"D and height adjustable. Angle of view also adjusts, and stand comes apart easily for transport. Stand includes and is pictured with an extra 16" long plastic shelf that slides onto the bottom shelf of the stand to hold small items (tuners, pencil/pen, metronome). Sells for $50 on Amazon (not including extra shelf) where you can read all about it.

My stand also comes with my very own homemade cardboard desk extender (photos 2 & 3) - stable enough to hold music books, binders, etc. Cardboard extender breaks down for storage and can, of course, be recycled if you don't use it. $20 for everything.
