Portside Bakery is looking for a skilled and experienced full-time baker to join our small team. Join us in creating high quality artisan bread and pastries that have built up a loyal following in Marin and San Francsico!
As a full-time baker at Portside, you will play a crucial role on our crew. Your responsibilities will include mixing, shaping, and baking bread and pastry.
Qualifications:
• Experience working as a baker in a professional kitchen, ideally with high hydration breads and laminated pastry
Proficiency in working with a deck oven
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, working independently while managing time efficiently
• Demonstrated reliability and a strong work ethic
• Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling you to work effectively with other team members in a shared space
