We are looking for a part time host/busser (1 person) to help out during the holiday season. There is a good chance this will turn into a more permanent job as the restaurant keeps getting busier and busier.
We would ideally like someone with fine dining experience but are willing to train the right person.
You must be outgoing, friendly, and have a great attitude - but most important is a sense of URGENCY! When things get moving around here they happen very quickly and we need someone who understands they need to move faster during the busy times.
Not only do we need you to move quickly, you must also be able to maneuver through tight spaces and carry sometimes heavy plates.
You must be able to confidently answer phones and speak with guests, no shy mumblers allowed (sorry!)
Currently we need someone to help out during the weekdays (especially Wednesday and Thursday) as well as some weeknights - likely Monday and Tuesday. I have two staff members with upcoming vacations and we would need you full time then.
From Nov 28 - Dec 7th we will need full time help, mostly bussing, and your schedule would be 4:30-close Friday, Sat, Sun, Wed, Thurs, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
From Dec 15-Jan 15 we will need full time help, bussing but focusing on hosting, your schedule would be 4:30-close Friday-Wednesday.
Before, in between, and after those dates we would resume the Mon & Tues nights, as well as Wed and Thurs days. There is always the chance of picking up extra shifts as we get deep into our busy season.
