The Role
As a Kitchen Associate working under our Chef, you'll be integral to creating exciting, health-focused cuisine showcasing the versatility of plant-based ingredients.
What You'll Do
Maintain our high standards for food quality and presentation
Making desserts, sweets, salads, juices, ice cream, bread, and other menu components
Work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Create and execute vibrant, fresh salads and innovative vegetable-forward dishes
Learn and execute fermentation techniques for various produce
Prepare whole foods using creative methods that maximize flavor and nutrition
Assist in developing new recipes and preparation techniques
Participate in building relationships with our partner farms and understand their growing practices
What We're Looking For
Previous commercial kitchen experience is a must
Experience making desserts, baking is a plus
Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
Team player mentality with excellent communication skills
Strong knife skills
Produce-handling expertise
Genuine enthusiasm for healthy, whole-food preparation
Knowledge about fermentation techniques is a plus
Creativity and willingness to experiment with new preparation methods
