Be part of a team leading fun, hands-on science education labs and demonstrations at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds. Saturday, March 7th.
9am to 4pm.
We are providing engaging, safe, exciting and amazing hands-on science for families.
The team draws from many skillsets. Is one or more of these a passion of yours?: theater & improv acting, education, science, engineering, technology.
Please indicate in your response some examples of your experience, background and/or interests.
Science subjects covered by the hands-on labs include: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy, Earth Sciences, Quantum Mechanics; Medical Science. Several fields of Engineering, allowing young people to gain experience at ages when they are naturally enthusiastically curious.
Must be safety conscious. Must like interacting with families; being respectful. We encourage group participation, and are not about promoting the claim that only elite genetic types of people are capable of being smart, and able to do science.
You'll quickly learn how the science labs work alongside more experienced presenters. The interactive labs are very popular. You'll be very busy, with lots of families around you all day.
