Sequoia Living is seeking an experienced Housekeeper to join our Skilled Nursing team. In this role, you'll help create a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents while working alongside a supportive team dedicated to exceptional senior care.
Schedule
Wednesday-Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Saturday-Sunday: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Weekend availability is required.
What You'll Do
Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and nursing facility spaces.
Vacuum, dust, mop, sanitize, and maintain assigned areas to the highest standards.
Clean windows, furniture, and other assigned areas.
Operate floor care equipment, including buffers and carpet shampoo machines.
Deliver laundry, packages, and supplies throughout the community.
Assist with room setups and furniture arrangements for resident events and activities.
Safely move furniture with assistance when needed.
Observe residents and report any concerns to nursing leadership.
Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
What We're Looking For
Previous professional housekeeping, environmental services, hotel, hospital, senior living, or skilled nursing experience is required.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English to interact with residents, families, and team members.
Friendly, dependable, and compassionate.
Strong attention to detail and takes pride in quality work.
Able to work independently while also being a team player.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Able to lift, push, pull, bend, and stand for extended periods.
