Construction Project Manager/Estimator/Engineer

LVI Engineering is a heavy civil engineering, construction, and service company specializing in building demolition, excavation, grading, utility installation, structural shoring, and helical pile installation. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Project Manager to lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, project scheduling, and estimating, with the ability to coordinate teams, maintain budgets, and deliver high-quality results. This role requires excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or a related field: equivalent technical training and/or related experience will be considered
• Experience working with Federal, Caltrans, and local government agencies
• Extensive experience in road, bridge, and heavy civil estimating, with a deep understanding of estimating strategies, construction contracts, and corporate objectives
• Proficiency in quantity takeoffs and pricing for the following trades: excavation, grading, underground utilities, water treatment plants, and paving
• Ability to develop detailed project estimates and budgets
• Strong organizational, supervisory, and decision-making and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Experience managing the full estimating process and preparing unit-price bids
• Ability to uphold the core values of the company
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish positive working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and clients
This is an in-person role. Candidates must live locally and be available for on-site work.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager/Estimator or in a similar role within the construction industry
• Strong understanding of project coordination processes and construction management principles
• Familiarity with Civil 3D for site design and planning is a plus
• Proven ability to manage and schedule multiple projects simultaneously
• Solid understanding of contract negotiation, interpretation, and administration
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate project teams
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
Computer Skills:
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Experience with Bluebeam; drafting skills are a plus
