Corte Madera Montessori (CMM), in Marin County just north of the Golden Gate Bridge, is seeking a Montessori Assistant Teacher to support one of our Primary classrooms for children ages 3 to 5 years. We are a family owned and operated school with an intimate supportive environment dedicated to providing children with a loving and authentic Montessori experience. The assistant teacher will be working under the guidance of one of our trained Montessori teachers.
This is a year-round position with an August 25th start date.
Hours offered: 8:00 - 4:00
Our ideal candidate has:
• A minimum of 12 ECE units required
• Experience in a preschool setting leading groups of children from age 2.5 to 5 yrs
• Confidence with the use of positive discipline to guide children and enforce limits
• Experience with Montessori preferred
• A desire to learn and to be an integral part of a team
• Able to lift 30 lbs

• $27-29 per hour depending on experience
