This is my 1996 Corvette. If you're looking for one of the last great c4's, but don't have 30k for a ZR1, this is the one. It is an absolutely great car, and I love every time I drive it... but as much as it pains me, I am moving to an apartment, have 3 cars, and have to make the adult decision to sell the toy.
A little about the car:
It is super clean, low miles for its age, comfortable, and gets decent mileage for a 20 year old V8 sports car (23 highway in 6th gear). I got from Santa Rosa to Reno once on a half tank of gas! However, the average mpg for a whole tank is around 18-19mpg accoring to the on board computer. Opti spark was recently replaced at a shop, and clear bra applied to protect the paint because it's in great shape just like the rest of the car. I have receipts for both. It has been garaged with a car cover for the time I've had it. Only one rip in the bottom of the drivers seat, otherwise the seats are solid. It really is a great example of a well-preserved c4. I've taken it to car shows, and get compliments on it all the time. I totally love it and hate to see it go, but for the right buyer I could be convinced.
However, being a 22 year old car it is not without its problems. The heater works fine, but the AC doesn't work and the vents don't shift positions (stuck in the floor position). Also, there is a SUPER slow oil leak from the right rear axle seal. I've checked the oil level and there's plenty. It's not really even leaking slow enough to make a difference, just enough to discolor the diff. The plastic top isn't super clear and has a very small crack (about 1.5" long) but doesn't leak water. The power drivers seat makes a noise when trying to move the recline angle, so I don't mess with it... although being a corvette there isn't much room to recline anyway, haha.
Message me with any questions. You have to see it to appreciate it. My pictures arent the best, sorry. Ill try to post more soon.
