I bought this truck about 12 years ago for work and it has been great. After the 2017 fire it sat for a while but I invested some money in it in 2020 to go over it completely for belts, hoses, wiring, filters, etc. I used it for a couple more years and last year the carb went. It has a new edelbrock carb but needs tuning and a thermostat (I have thermostat and a new water neck for it). I had the windows tinted too, which was a nice addition. The stuff on the wind shield in the photo is sap from the tree next to it. Easy enough to clean off. There are also a couple of solar chargers in the photo as well for some trickle charge of the battery. This part of my yard doesn’t get a lot of sun so it’ll likely need a jump to start for a showing. Electronic choke seems to need adjustment or isn’t working because it runs at high RPM when started since the replacement carb was done. Pretty simple fix for somebody who knows what they’re doing.
I just don’t have time for it and am using a different truck nowadays. Engine is strong with no leaks I can find, rubber is good, work boxes are solid but don’t lock. It’s an old truck and very basic but also very cool in its own way. I’m hoping to find the right home for it.
