Up for sale is my 2014 Chevy Volt. Our family bought this vehicle brand new from a Chevrolet dealer in Southern California back in Spring of 2014.
The car has about 140k miles, and based on the cars computer, about half of those miles were driven on the battery.
This car has been phenomenal for me, and I’m only looking to sell it because I have don’t have enough space. Its value is in its usage, I get about 35MPG on the gas engine. My trip meter shows over the last 100k miles, an average of 81MPG.
If I had more space I’d keep it. This is a great vehicle for someone who needs an extremely efficient vehicle with both plug in and gas capabilities. No range anxiety if you cannot charge.
Options include:
Backup camera with proximity sensors.
Heated front seats.
Onstar and Sirius Radio with subscription.
Remote start on Key Fob
A full charge will get you about 35-40 miles depending on how you drive it. After that, the gas engine seamless engages and you have a 9 gallon tank.
Based on my calculations and electricity prices in Rohnert Park, California, it costs me about $2-$3 to charge at home outside of Peak Hours.
The front end has some minor damage, someone backed into the car in a parking lot. Also, the interior button to unlock the doors and change drive between drive modes do not function. Working on what seems to be an easy fix for drive mode button.
I have 1 key remote, and of course the At-Home 120v charger is included, this makes it very easy to charge at home / on the go.
