2000 Honda Civic Four Door Sedan

169K Miles.

It’s not beautiful, but everything works well—including the AC (which blows cold). It runs, drives, and shifts well.

It was smogged 03-18-24. That was valid for ninety days, so it’ll need a new one, but it will pass again.

The registration expired in 12-08-23, and there is $241 due in past-due DMV fees, which would then make it valid until December 08, 2024.

The tires will need to be replaced soon—within a few thousand miles. It’s totally drivable now. I took it on a fifty-miletest drive, and it did fine. But the tires are coming due.

AC blows cold.

Radio works fine. The code is written in the owners manual in case you accidentally lock it or disconnect power and need it reset. The volume “sticks” at one level sometimes, but this can usually be remedied by turning it off and on again, or spinning the volume knob really fast.

The passenger side side mirror is off. It looks like it was broken off. It’s in the trunk, and looks like it could be reattached, by using some longer metal screws or something.

All doors, hood, and trunk open, close, and latch well.

It has a spare tire a jack in the trunk.

It is missing one hubcap.

It has some dents and scratches, and its paint is not good. Please see pictures.

The interior is decent, and would look even better after a good cleaning. The seats are solid and structurally sound. No issues with them. They all adjust and slide well.

Headliner is in good condition.

It looks like the passenger exterior door lock is broken and does not function. It appears that someone tried to jimmy it or something. The driver’s door lock works fine. The passenger door does lock securely though, when locked from the inside, so the car still can be completely locked.

I do not have its original key. Comes with one key. It works fine.

Manual windows and door locks.

Great MPG.

Battery is fine.

Heater blows warm.

AC blows cold.

Brakes are good.

Driver was a non-smoker.

The prior owner passed away of old age in December 0f 2023 (not in the car), and I am selling it for his family. I do not have the title, but have all paperwork and full authorization to attain a duplicate title and sell it, and this can be verified with the city’s public administrator’s office who is also handling part of his estate, but have released the car. I would go to the DMV with you at the time of purchase, and assist you with the completed transfer. We could do this with an application for duplicate title and transfer form, and then it would be completed. It’s very easy and fast. No games.

The title is clear, and not salvage.

We would conduct the sale at my business (we own a large used furniture and equipment business here in Rohnert Park—and have been for several years), so you will know we are not going anywhere or playing any “craigslist games”.

I’m sorry, but the price is firm. Please, no lowball offers, quoting all of the work it may need or its condition, because that is already all factored into my price. If it was in perfect condition, I’d be asking well over $4,650 for it. I’m not trying to sound rude, but just trying to save time for both of us. Thank you again in advance for understanding.
