This 2018 Mercedes Sprinter 144” 75k miles is a thoughtfully crafted, self-built van designed by someone who has lived and worked on the road. It’s my second van conversion. Combining personal experience with practical design to create a space that truly works for real life—whether you’re living, traveling, working remotely, or just heading out for the weekend.
What sets this van apart is the attention to detail and versatile layout. The open center aisle gives it a more spacious feel and allows you to move freely, making it easier to cook, relax, or even haul large items when needed. I used premium materials like custom black walnut finishes and designed the bed to pull out smoothly on heavy-duty drawer slides, with smart storage tucked underneath. Overhead cabinets offer plenty of additional storage without making the space feel cramped.
It’s equipped for full off-grid use with a 300Wh power system (2 batteries 100wh and 200wh both with individual inverters) dual-zone 45L fridge/freezer, 15-gallon fresh water system, and a 5-gallon gray water tank with a floor-mounted valve. A diesel heater, full insulation with acoustic paneling, and a Maxxair vent. The Starlink internet setup with magnetic roof mount can be included for true connectivity from anywhere.
The engine is solid, tires are in great shape. No mechanical issues. 53k
