1948 Dodge blue 4-door sedan — original survivor
Unrestored and largely untouched, this classic 1948 Dodge retains its original character throughout. blue with wide whitewall tires and an exterior sun visor and miles of brightwork. inside, you’ll find mohair seats and period details, including the factory push-button start and a push button radio.
Powered by a durable inline 6, paired with a 3-speed manual “on the tree” and Fluid Drive (an early semi-automatic system), it’s a unique and easy cruiser. Around town, you can comfortably drive in second gear without needing to use the clutch at every stop — a great feature for relaxed driving.
The same rugged L6 engine design was used in industrial applications like forklifts well into the 1980s, speaking to its reliability and longevity.
