2013 Prius plug in
- At this point all maintenance is done you just drive it. Change oil every 4500 miles and spark plugs and at 240k. Most prius’s you see online might be slightly less in cost but require all the maintenance I’ve listed below and drive terribly. Most people won’t do this much maintenance, I can’t stand driving a car that doesn’t drive perfect.
- Over $8,000 in maintenance.
- Looking for $13,000.00
- Plug In Prius comes with Lithium ion battery that allows 10 miles of electric driving up to 65 mph. Then it automatically acts as the hybrid battery, when battery is below threshold to provide full electric driving.
- I have experienced 58 mpg. With combination of maintenance and driving habits.
- This car drives and acts like a new car.
- It also handles pretty good due to the Progressive Koni suspension. They stiffen with cornering, and road input.
- This vehicle is significantly better than the regular prius due higher quality hybrid battery. And 40 mpg vs 58 mpg. Regular prius comes with Nickel battery pack.
- 95% of mileage is freeway.
