You are looking at an incredible build on a 1967 Ford Mustang Resto-Mod. The owner built it with some awesome tech so it would be comfortable to drive on the road for a cruise or take to an autocross event (he's only done the autocross twice). We have over $60,000 in receipts (and we have most, but not all of the receipts from this build) and he did most of the himself. The body of this car is in great shape for a driver. The mechanics of the car are top-notch.
Exterior: The dark blue paint is pretty and looks sharp on the car. The chrome is in good shape all the way around. The gray American Racing wheels really set off the dark blue paint.
Interior: When you open the door, you'll see black Corbeau leather seats in front, reproduction factory black vinyl rear seat and door panels, factory black loop style carpets, black headliner and black dash pad. The guages were replaced with a Phantom gauges. It has custom billet aluminum pedals as well as a custom wood steering wheel. It has a nice Kenwood head unit, upgraded Infinity speakers, and a Rockford Fosgate subwoofer. The interior is surrounded by a strong 8-point roll cage with removable side-bars to make getting in and out easy.
Engine: This is one of the distinguishing features of this car. It has a Ford crate Windsor 351 cu.in. (5.4L) V8 with over $18,000 invested in the engine alone.
Steering and Suspension: Adjustable electric power steering, Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes with cross-drilled and slotted rotors, Adjustable suspension front and rear to make it easy to dial in for track use or soften for the road.
Transmission: Tremec TR-500 5-speed manual transmission mated to a 9" rear end.
Trunk: Nice relatively new optima battery, custom trunk carpeting, and the Rockford Fosgate subwoofer
Wheels/Tires: American Racing 17" Polished Aluminum Wheels wrapped in 245-45-ZR17 Nitto NT555 Extreme ZR in front and 275-40-ZR17 Nitto NT555 Extreme ZR in the back.
This Mustang is in really nice condition inside and out. The owner and his son built it (and they built it right) but they had another project that required the additional funding so they had to let it go.
