Here is a carving of an Otter on his back with sea shell. It is carved out of fossilized bone, probably sea lion or walrus jaw bone, made by Alaska Eskimo Inuit. It measures nine inches long and three inches tall. It is signed on the bottom with an "R". Please see pictures for condition. Click on the picture for a larger image size.
