This belt is very well made and has been in my family since at least the 1970s.
These Korean "Map'ae", or "horse warrant" medallions are reproductions of ancient pieces. More can be read about the history here: https://koreanmedals.com/horse-warrants-ma-pae
The medallions are assembled on a very heavy leather belt with custom decorative accents that frame each medallion. 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 horse medallions are fastened in ascending / descending order for a total of 8 (plus buckle).
A large brass buckle is stamped on the back with "Reproduction of original Silla Tile,(57 B.C. to A.D. 935) / Made in Korea"

Dimensions:
Medallions are 3-5/16" diameter. Buckle is 5" diameter. Belt is 4" wide and length measures 44" not including the buckle. The waist adjustment is approximately 39-1/2" to 42" with 3/4" increments. There are reproductions of official seals on the back of each medallion. One photo included that shows a partial image. Brass surfaces have tarnished with time, a normal process to be expected.
