Beautiful antique Osborne pearlized celluloid mechanical pencil from the late 1930s/early 1940s, customized with advertising. I bought it at an estate sale in Oregon 40+ years ago — but only to admire, not to use.
5.25" long and 3/8" in diameter.
Has brass tip, rings and pocket clip.
Also has the black and white "bull's-eye" end cap typical of Osborne brand.
In great vintage condition. 2nd pic confirms Osborne name. Shows negligible wear and writes fine — lead is installed and advances smoothly. Overall, very clean and undamaged with minimal signs of age/use: Pocket clip has slight bend. Brass elements have some patina. No eraser.
Ad imprint on barrel shows no wear and retains crisp, readable text:
