Displays-projects a rainbow on a wall or other large surface area. The further away from the wall the larger the rainbow image. The base of the lamp can be raised on the front in order to set the projection angle of the rainbow. There is also a power switch that is on the power cord of the included original AC adapter.
Sold through the old Edmund Scientific catalogs back in the late 1980's and are rare especially in this condition.
Case looks & feels like Bakelite though it might not be
