Cobalt blue design with larger flowers outlined in gold and smaller white flowers.
I told my kids my grandmother "dined with the Queen". This was based on an old family photograph of an amazingly elegant large table setting surrounded by tens of people. As I learned recently from my daughter that my grandmother was honored by the King of Sweden for the work she did on the behalf of the Swedish peoples of San Francisco. So now I can safely say that my grandmother dined with the King and Queen!!! This casserole dish may have graced one of her tables.
