Stunning large handmade Brutalist metal sunburst wall sculpture in a 36” x 36” shadowbox frame. The backing is a deep black velvet-style fabric that gives the metal great contrast. The center disc shows hand-worked texture. The rods are individually placed with slight spacing variations, and small nail-head fasteners around the center are part of the original construction. The weld around the center is hand-applied and uneven in a way that reflects real metalwork, not factory production.
This is artisan-made metal art, not a mass-produced décor piece. Unique, dramatic, and perfect for mid-century modern, contemporary, industrial, and design-forward interiors.
Frame depth is approximately 2–3 inches. Excellent condition.
