For your consideration is a rare Brass Fireplace Warmer. The warmer was intended to hook onto the fireplace fender or andiron whereupon its moveable tray is lowered to hold any item for warming. The warmer is old and probably from the early 1900s. It is typical of those used in Europe and Great Britain and may have been imported from that area. It was purchased from an Antique Store 30 years ago. Located in Bodega Bay.
