boat type: other
propulsion type: power
length overall (LOA): 26
Big piece of high quality crafted aluminum in the shape of an unsinkable Berkeley police patrol boat.

Major towing capacity, beefy line bars on the transom, nice big towpost.
Totally capable out the gate, with cozy enclosed cabin. Fuel tanks are still there.
Likely original power spec was twin 150-200 hp outboards, or a single 200.

Comes with all the glass, rubber, foam antennas, windshield wipers, and deck tape you see in the pictures.

The hull is good all over, with only one quarter-sized corrosion, port side rear, which indicates the need for a full hull check and inevitably welding aluminum.

We have an audio gauge for checking the hill that a potential buyer can borrow on site. Easy to use. Tells all.

“Usually” aluminum corrosion is very localized. So a $75.00/hour welder at 3-4 hours
and a square foot of scrap might be needed. Just guessing. We have a 220 outlet nearby.

Seller can also provide pour foam at cost to totally fill the thing in 15 minutes.
Normally foam is costly.

Amazingly, if you do all the things that you need to do to this fine piece of engineered aluminum, all fairly straightforward things, it will become a very nice boat. And many times more valuable. A boat of great usefulness, fun, and envy. You could make it high-tech cruiser or dirty work boat. You can even be a good Samaritan on the high seas, if you wanted to. Fine for waterskiing. Great for Armageddon.

Truth is, out on the Bay is the wilderness, and with such a boat you can go just about anywhere you like.

We don’t have time for the work needed. Thus the price.
A $20,000 hull for 7k is gonna be a fixer upper, but we think this one's worth it.

If seriously interested, please leave a text number, and respect the time of the occupants.

Thank you.
