This 2502 model is a 23 foot walk around hull. It currently has a Mercruiser 200 HP V8 that we think blew a gasket. The engine konked out on our last trip, I took it to the mechanic and he thinks most likely issue is a blown gasket and maybe water in the cylinder. So, selling as is with the thought its going to need a new engine dropped in.
The hull is in pretty good shape for a 20 year old boat. Minimal cracks on the gel cost and only a couple blemishes on the exterior of the hull. The cuddy cabin is in poor shape but functional. The console controls are all functional but only the gas gauge works. Throttle, steering, hydraulics for outdrive, trimtabs all work.
We have used it for Halibut in the SF Bay and crabbing, rock fish and 1 salmon trip outside the gate. I had put this engine in when I bought it and had just done a full service right before it gave out. I've put in a new trim tab actuator, bilge pump, fish finder, trailer wheel bearings, a new trailer wheel, new trailer winch stand, and other minor updates.
