The BARTENDER, a boat first used for U.S. Coast Guard service in the Pacific NW over 40 years ago, is a practical, safe, and economical rough water boat which has been recognized worldwide for use recreationally and in a variety of demanding industries including the Alaska Oil Industry and Australian Surf Patrol. If you consider extreme seaworthiness and classic appearance among the top attributes of a boat design then consider a BARTENDER – a serious offshore boat that will bring you home. This is an ideal boat for the open access fishery with permits available for $52 from NOAA. Present limits are Canary, 1,000 Lbs: Lingcod, 9,000 Lbs: Widow (brownies) 2,000 Lbs: Yellow Tail (Greenies), 3,000 Lbs and Blacks, 5,000. Flat fish like Petrale have a 10,000 limit. These are two month quotas.
1990 Bartender refurbished by a professional boat builder in 2023. Fiberglass over marine plywood. Low hour Yamaha 250 saltwater series 2. Very fast boat, does over 35 mph. Two vhf radios and a Furuno sounder/plotter and radar. LED lights on mast. 30 gallon fuel tank under center of cabin with room for bigger one. Second 20 gallon tank is included but not installed. This is a very good sea boat and a quick search on Google with have lots of information about the design. 2001 King saltwater tandem axle trailer with surge brakes that cost that is like new.
