Book 'Yosemite National Park: A Personal Discovery' is a pictorial paperback w/breathtaking photos of Yosemite. The paperback edition, first printing 2001, is in superb condition for its age, covers and contents. (It’s only flaw is a bit of sun-fading on extreme edges of front and back covers.) Of special interest to photographer Howard Weamer’s fans and collectors, his iconic image ‘Stormlight on Half Dome, seen from Sentinel Dome, late afternoon’ is included in a full-bleed on Page 8. His handwritten, penned autograph is under the caption on the lower margin, opposite page. Beyond Howard’s contribution, the book is profusely illustrated with other familiar sites and creatures, taking the reader intimately into the park. In addition to the impressive visuals, it generously includes information about the park, making it a great book to read for a first-time visitor. The book is about 10” W x 13” H x 1/4" thick.
