this bike has been completely disassembled and overhauled with original parts, including the Schwinn two-tone "S" seat, Bendix red band rear coaster brake hub and Schwinn chrome rims...
the rear end was aligned and the fork trued as well, on every bike done here...
and all bikes are "hands free" riders if you can ride hamds free...
rebuilt with new reproduction GoodYear G3 balloon tires, tubes, rim strips, pedals, and chain...
the Schwinn American model was made for 7 years between 1955 and 1965, and were advertised as "100 percent American made", with all parts made in the USA...no weinmann brakes, sturmey-archer hubs, or union pedals, chains, or hubs on any Americans...
