Uranium glass* salt or pepper shaker with raised chevrons on three sides, circa 1930s or earlier.
First pic shows it glowing under ultraviolet light as proof it’s authentic uranium glass. As shown in last pic, this piece was originally produced as part of a set with two shakers on a stand.
This is a triangular-shaped bottle with a threaded neck for a plastic cap (not included).
In excellent, clean condition. No chips or cracks.
3" tall and about 1.75" wide at base.
*Note: Adding uranium to glass production yields a green color and causes glass to glow in UV light. The process was invented around 1900, but producing uranium glass items for household use fell away in the 1940s when uranium was allotted to Cold War applications.
