A beautiful pair of Don Shoemaker bookends made from solid cocobolo wood. Don Shoemaker was an American artist/designer who moved to Mexico in the 1950s and started the design company SENAI, S.A. His designs were very much celebrated then as well as now by Mid Century Modern collectors. Bookends are large and heavy and in good condition. They retain the Senal paper label to underside.
10 1/2" long 8" tall, each bookend 5" wide
