This is a sign and the advertising box lid for a Edison Diamond Disc Phonograph. Thomas Edison developed this innovation in around around 1912, and this technology would remain in use till 1930 or so. This innovation in recording and listening replaced the old cylinders. The sign is in very good condition as shown. It is wood with stenciled paint. It is a large sign measuring 24 1/2"W X 55" H.
