True original oil painting in beautiful oval format, very good condition for its age, guessing about 140 years. The frame shows expected age wear, redo the fabric and you’re good to go. The back bears a period label from Sanborn, Vail & Co., 857 Market Street, San Francisco, a respected 19th-century art materials and framing company.
