This is an opportunity to own a signed Stanley Mouse print with a local angle at a reasonable price. Stanley Mouse is famous for his Grateful Dead posters and is widely collected.
This is a print of the image used on a Dutch Henry Winery 2016 Terrier Station Cabernet Sauvignon wine label. The winery burned down in the Glass fire in 2020.
A similar image was used for the Grateful Dead Terrapin Station album, the band's ninth album. For that image, the cover artwork was produced by Kelley/Mouse Studios, who had created several previous works for the band.
It is signed on the plate and in ink by the artist.
Frame size: 18 1/4" x 18 1/4"
The image and glass are in very good condition. The frame has very minor imperfections and is suitable for display.
This is from a 12-year old Reddit post:
"Dutch Henry Winery is in the northern end of the Napa Valley, not far from Calistoga. They're pretty cool out there; cats named "Pink" and "Floyd". Airedale terriers wandering around. Bocce courts, picnic tables...oh and excellent wine. A few years ago they had a release party of their "Terrier Station" with a Mouse-drawn label and he showed up & signed as many bottles as you wanted to buy. Nice guy, and it was a great day."
If piece is listed it is still available for sale.
Available in Santa Rosa and, when arranged in advance, in San Francisco.
Provided are pictures of the Grateful Dead album cover and the Cabernet Sauvignon wine label.
