ABOUT CAKEBREAD CELLARS
"Cakebread Cellars has long been celebrated as a classic and pioneering Napa Valley producer, famous for their Chardonnays and Cabernet Sauvignons. The family-owned winery, located in Rutherford, was founded in 1973 and is now helmed by the second generation of Cakebreads. They possess 1,617 acres of estate vineyard land, which gives them a high degree of control over the quality of fruit that goes into their wines. Jack Cakebread had a lifelong interest in photography. In 1972, for example, even before starting the winery, he took photographs for Nathan Chroman's book 'Treasury of American Wines'."
