Winsor & Newton Bristol Sketching Easel is brand-new, in original retail carton w/zippered storage pouch. The aluminum ‘sketching’ easel is equally useful as a painting easel, or for display and tabletop use. It can be used both indoors and outdoors. It's ideal for watercolors and suitable for oil and acrylic painting, and pastel or charcoal work. It can be used in an upright position for painting, etc., but it also has a central pivot point where the arm can be tilted to a preferred working position, reclining flat enabling the artist to paint with watercolor. It has a useful utility hook on the tray. The zippered carry case is polypropylene which is flexible and ideal for use in transport to field locations, having both Nylon strap handles and shoulder strap. The easel can hold a paper/canvas up to 33” L and the aluminum ledger on which it would sit is about 1” H. The tripod easel, with its 3-section legs w/one-touch latches, fully extended is about 60” H, collapsed it is about 26” L x 4-1/2” W. It has a somewhat limited availability on-line, in the $90 to $100-range. As such, this is a rare find in ‘new’ condition, and a bargain here.
