Russian Carved Wooden Folk Art Toy Dualling Birds w/Pushbutton Action beautifully hand-carved c. 1990s. The vintage toy appears virtually new, the wood in pristine condition, in perfect working order, the birds, possibly a Seller’s Jay, vey for worms, each alternating in pecking action w/each push of the button. Each bird is individually carved and mounted on base wood block the houses the pushbutton mechanism. It’s about 5” L x 2” W; the birds about 2” H, carved w/fine details. It has a Russian hallmark stamped on the underside, as well as a paper label affixed thereto, as well. Its unique design, attention to detail and action make it a valuable addition to vintage toy collection. It’s available for local pick-up in San Rafael, cash, Venmo, or PayPal.
