Modern Colorful Cubist-style Face Sculpture Inspired by Joan Miro, this is an abstract sculpture in cast stone, inspired by the geometric shapes of Spanish artist Joan Miro. The work has various color blocked shapes, chartreuse/yellow, red, blue, grays, and black, combined into a whimsical bust sculpture with apparent horns. The figure stands on an integral rectangular stone base, with a plinth atop, and the abstract sculptural ‘face’ rising from that. Overall, it is about 15” H x 8” W x 4” W at base, w/2” W ‘face.’ It weighs about 17 lbs. It has been used with care but in public display it has incurred minor scuffs, rubbing, and some scratches but no abrasions, chips, or cracks. Great placement on the fireplace hearth, in a garden setting, or as a spotlighted tabletop display. It’s available for local pick-up in San Rafael, cash, Venmo, or PayPal.
