Framed Color Lithograph ‘Rounding The Horn’ by James Sessions (American 1882-1962) is a reproduction of his 1939 watercolor of the sailing ship done on watercolor paper. It was signed ‘Sessions 39’ in the lower left of the image. The lithographic print was published by the New York Graphic Society c. 1968. The image is about 23” W x 19-1/2” H in a double-mat overlay, dark green with blue overlay. It is glazed with clear glass 28-1/2” W x 23-1/2” H. The carved wood frame is about 1” thick with a variegated beige finish and gold trim at print’s edge. The framed assembly has a backer board, likely foamcore, sealed with a brown kraft paper dust seal. It is strung with plastic-coated stranded wire, ready to hang w/attached wall hardware. It’s available for local pick-up in San Rafael, cash, Venmo, or PayPal.
