Framed Fine Art Print 'Another Side of Time', by Yusuf / Cat Stevens, Limited Edition #39/75 was inspired by an 1880's engraving commonly known as 'The Flammarion Engraving' and was first displayed on the cover of his limited-edition memoir ‘Cat Stevens: Back Beyond.’ This illustrative self-portrait is a large-format fine art print, published in a collector's edition of only 75 prints worldwide. (According to the publisher the subscription was sold-out as of mid-2023; as such, this copy is very collectible.) Each print was individually numbered, checked, and signed by artist Yusuf; this being penciled as Edition ‘39/75.’ The artwork is an archival Giclée print using ‘K3 Lightfast’ inks onto heavyweight archival 100% Cotton Hahnemuhle Photo Rag paper (320gsm.) The print is 20” W x 18” H, framed, 23” W x 21” H. It. Is overlain with an acid-free beveled mat and finished w/UV-safe Plexiglas glazing and acid-free backerboard. The finished assembly is mounted in a light ash-wood frame that is strung w/Nylon cord, ready to hang. In addition to the artist’s signature, it includes a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the publisher Genesis Publications, attached to the backerboard. The framed artpiece is surrounded by open-cell foam and plastic wrap as furnished by the publisher. It is available for local pick-up in San Rafael, cash, Venmo, or PayPal.
