Hi All! I have a sweet, 275 sq feet or so, ADU/cottage in my backyard in East Petaluma for rent. Includes a fully functional (but small!) kitchen, with an oven, stove, and full fridge, bathroom with shower, small closet, storage loft, small heating and cooling wall unit that works well, and even a combined washer dryer. Unfurnished. It has room for a full or queen bed in the sleeping nook. The unit was built in 2017, and is clean and modern.
Super quiet and sweet setting.
Single individual only. No couples. I am looking for someone quiet, community-minded, considerate, and relatively quiet. No pets. The space is just too small for a pet to be happy. On street parking available.
The cottage is detached from the house (though super close) and has it’s own little side yard and path. The cottage backs up to the yard of the main house which is mostly filled with garden beds.
East Petaluma near Kenilworth Junior High. There’s a great walking/running trail nearby. As well as public transport, and grocery stores. Street parking.
$1400 a month plus $100 for utilities (wifi, gas and electric, garbage and recycling, and water). So $1500 a month total. Available Nov 1. Security Deposit is $1500.
Month-to-month trial for first 2 months then longer lease (1 yr? 6 months? negotiable) after that.
The cottage is ity bity, so you must be comfortable living in small spaces. ☺
I am a conscious, respectful, and responsive landlord and a great communicator and I’m looking for the same in a tenant.
Photos are from when the house was staged a few years back, with a couple that a tenant took to give you an idea of how it can be furnished. (Note the landscaping is a bit more overgrown at the moment! But you get the idea :)).
