Unique hybrid rental in my cozy 2-bedroom, 1-bath main house in Napa.
I currently occupy the home, but will be out of the area often. I'd like to keep a place to return home to occasionally. So I’m seeing if there is a good fit out there for this arrangement. For someone who wants a one bedroom and the entire house to yourself when I'm gone, and on the days/weeks or months that I'm home, we will share the home, and I'll discount the rent.
About the Space:
• You’ll have a bedroom and a bath (AKA shared the bathroom when I’m home).
• Full kitchen access, living room with ambiance fireplace, mini split for heat and a/c.
• House is furnished, but I am open to furniture changes/adjustments if you have items to bring.
• Shared laundry room at no additional cost.
• Shared backyard with my other tenant, who lives in the ADU. There is one bunny and 2 cats on the property.
• Hybrid parking —driveway and street parking depending on the day. When I’m away, you’ll likely have the driveway daily.
• Neighborhood off of 1st street, easy highway access, a little over a mile to downtown, and walkable to a grocery store and hiking spot.
What I’m Looking For:
• Someone who will treat the place like their own — keep things clean, and communicate with me if issues come up.
• Responsible, considerate, quiet (as there is another unit/tenant, so we both are respectful of noise, and usually 10pm-7am is quiet time.
Rent:
• $1950/month (all utilities included) when you have the place to yourself, and when I'm home, we can discount $20 a day for every day that I'm home, so up to $600 discount a month.
• All utilities included (water, electricity and garbage that fits in the standard bins.)
• WiFi also included, shared with other unit, so if you need something better than that, then that will be your responsibility to set up and pay for it.
• Month-to-month okay, open to short/medium/longer term.
DEPENDING ON THE PERSON AND AGREEMENT: the rental amount can possibly be adjusted.
